Madness combat is one of the easiest animating stiles to master, and yet we see so many shitty tributes on Newgrounds! So I went out and made this tutorial for all the retards who cant figure it out for themselves.

Madness Combat Basic Guide:

Step I: Get something to animate:
OK, this ones pretty obvious, just download a sheet from the archives. Later on, it will be a good idea to make your own sheet though.

Step II: Story:
OK, This is a VERY important step in any tribute. The idea is to make an original story line, not to add on to the madness storyline. Also don't post test on newgrounds, its NOT a good idea, your movie will get blamed.

Step III: Character placement and animation:
rather than going through the trouble of tipping this out I found some on newgrounds and YouTube.

Well first off, this is for those people just starting out. Madness is like heroine. Its easy to start, difficult to learn how to control it, but in the end its just like Hotel California. You can check out any time you like but you can NEVER leave. Well to start how about we introduce you to the basics. Madness Combat is symbol based animation. This means that every piece you use is a movable Group of pixels. This makes life very easy, trust me. Now as far as animation goes... well lets discuss pros and cons...

FBF:

Tweening is one of the first things you learn in the flash environment. Therefore, the simplest. Though many people could easily tween from one spot to another and call that a job well done, they're fucking retards that have standards so low, they think Miss California is intelligent.
